SCHOLARSHIP AUDIT OF THE SC STUDENTS CONDUCTED IN THE COLLEGE   

On November 17, 2024, a scholarship audit was conducted by 12 members mainly from the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Shillong, focusing on scholarships for students from the Scheduled Caste category. The meeting, held at the Principal's office, was supported by the office staff managing the scholarship department. Students and their parents also participated. It was confirmed that most students had received their scholarships. A member explained the two funding systems, both from the state and central governments. The Principal was urged to expedite the clearance of documents in the bank and related to Aadhaar cards. The meeting also decided to organize an awareness session on government guidelines, scheduled for January 10, 2025. Students are required to attend, with the venue to be announced later.
