The Parent Association is the structure through which parents/guardians in a Don Bosco College can work together for the best possible education for their children.

The Parent Association works with the principal, teaching staff and the management to build effective partnership of home and the college.

Involvement of parents in college can achieve higher levels when parents and teachers work together.

The Parent Association can advise the principal on policy issues and incidents that may require a review of college policy.

Parent Associations can suggest and/or organise extra-curricular activities.

The Parent Association is a support for parents in the college.

The Parent Association is not a forum for complaint against either an individual teacher or parent. The Complaints Procedure is the mechanism for this.

Through the Parents Association, Parents can

  1. Have a voice on issues concerning the college
  2. Have a say in the formation of the college Policies
  3. Raise issues of concern
  4. Support the college in practical ways.
