Visit of Mrs Krishtina K Marak, Director of RAHi Redwings Air Hostess and Hospitality Institute, Guwahati

On 18 October 2024, Mrs Krishtina K. Marak, Director of RAHi Redwings Air Hostess and Hospitality Institute, Guwahati, accompanied by Mr Joab N Sangma, resource mobiliser and motivator, visited Don Bosco College, Tura, to explore collaboration opportunities aimed at training aspiring youth in the fields of air hostess and hospitality. During her visit, Mrs Marak presented a proposal letter outlining her institute's plans for offering specialized training and placement services to students interested in these sectors.

The visit saw a strong response from the students, especially those in their final year and recent graduates, who registered enthusiastically for an interactive session with Mrs Marak. The proposed collaboration holds great promise, as it is expected to provide students from Tura and the Garo Hills region with valuable skills and opportunities to enter the rapidly growing hospitality and aviation industries.

It is hoped that this initiative will soon take off, helping to realize the dreams of many youth in the region who are keen to pursue careers in these exciting fields.
