MEETING OF JESUS YOUTH OF DON BOSCO COLLEGE TURA HELD

The Jesus Youth of Don Bosco College, Tura, held their first meeting with Brother Shaun Marbaniang, the Assistant Coordinator of Jesus Youth, Shillong, and Brother Anugrah Saji, the current full timer, currently accommodated at Loyola College, Williamnagar. The meeting took place at Don Bosco College, Tura, at around 3:30 PM. Along with the Brothers, two alumni of Loyola College, Ancy and Susy, also attended the meeting. Additionally, four members of Jesus Youth Tura were present.

Brother Shaun Marbaniang led the meeting, during which he proposed several important agendas.

Agenda 1: Brother Shaun emphasized the importance of organizing a "One Day Program" for the students of Don Bosco College once the college reopens. He suggested that the date should be decided by the Jesus Youth of Tura. The primary objective of this program is to provide the students with an opportunity to experience the love of Jesus Christ.

Agenda 2: The meeting also highlighted the importance of focusing on small, foundational steps rather than immediately attempting big initiatives. Brother Shaun used the analogy of a tree, explaining that if a tree grows too large without strong roots, it will eventually fall. Similarly, for the Jesus Youth movement to thrive in Tura, a strong foundation must be established first.

Agenda 3: As part of the preparations for the "One Day Program," the group discussed creating posters to promote the event among the students, encouraging them to learn more about Jesus Youth.

The Jesus Youth of Tura expressed their deep gratitude to Brother Shaun Marbaniang, Brother Anugrah Saji, and the two Loyola College alumni for their support and willingness to help strengthen the Jesus Youth movement in Don Bosco college, Tura.

The meeting concluded with a prayer led by Brother Shaun Marbaniang.
