Commerce Students Gain Entrepreneurial Insights at Tura Industrial Fair 3.0.
On 14th February 2024, the final semester Commerce students embarked on an insightful journey at the Tura Industrial Fair 3.0, held at the Matchakolgre L P School Playground. With the aim of delving into the realms of entrepreneurship, the students eagerly participated in the Annual District Level Industrial Exhibition organized by the District Commerce & Industries Centre (DCIC), Tura.
The event, inaugurated on February 13, 2024, by the Hon’ble Commissioner of West Garo Hills, Shri Jagadish Chelani, IAS, set the stage for a day filled with learning and discovery. As the students explored the array of exhibits showcasing various industries and businesses, they were encouraged to grasp the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and glean insights from those already traversing the path of enterprise.
In line with their academic objectives, the students were tasked with absorbing the practical wisdom offered by industry veterans and entrepreneurs present at the fair. From understanding the intricacies of business operations to unraveling the secrets of successful ventures, the students immersed themselves in a richness of entrepreneurial knowledge.
As part of their learning experience, the students will compile their observations and reflections into a comprehensive write-up to be presented to the department. This endeavor not only underscores the academic rigor of their curriculum but also highlights the practical approach adopted by Don Bosco College in grooming future entrepreneurs.
