Inspiring Awareness: Red Ribbon Superstar Meghalaya Icon Tour Educates College Students on HIV/AIDS.

As part of the ongoing Cross Country Tour to promote awareness on HIV and AIDS, Team Inspire Relations and Communications visited Don Bosco College on November 22, 2023, imparting crucial knowledge to the eager students. The multimedia campaign, Red Ribbon Superstar Meghalaya Icon, aims to engage and educate communities on the importance of understanding and preventing HIV/AIDS.

Mr. Alexander Kharkongor, the Programme Director of Team Inspire Relations and Communications, took center stage, capturing the attention of the student body with an animated and informative session. The event saw the active participation of resource persons from the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society, Tura, adding expertise and depth to the discourse.

The program, designed to be both engaging and educational, touched upon various aspects of HIV/AIDS awareness, including prevention, stigma reduction, and the significance of early detection. The interactive session allowed students to ask questions and engage in meaningful discussions, fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge exchange.
