Meghalaya Chemistry Olympiad 2023 held in DBC Tura.

In a remarkable and historic event, the first-ever Meghalaya Chemistry Olympiad was held at Don Bosco College in Tura, showcasing the intellectual prowess of young chemistry enthusiasts from the region. The annual competition, designed to celebrate and nurture chemistry talents, took place simultaneously in Tura and Shillong on November 1, 2023.

Approximately fifty students from Tura participated in the event, which aims to boost their confidence, enhance their academic excellence, and provide them with the opportunity to win cash rewards. The competition was an exciting opportunity for these young minds to exhibit their knowledge, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities in the field of chemistry.

Dr. Madhusudhan Saha, from the Department of Chemistry at Don Bosco College, Tura, took the lead in coordinating the entire event. His dedication to promoting scientific excellence among the youth of Meghalaya was evident in the successful execution of the Olympiad. The event was organized by the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya, which played a pivotal role in bringing this academic competition to life.
