College Community Pays Tribute to deceased student Lt. Berthiani D. Sangma

In a solemn and heartfelt gesture, the faculty members and students of the College gathered together to observe a minute of silence on 11th August 2023 at 11:30 AM. The purpose of this collective moment was to pay their respects and pray for the repose of the soul of Lt. Berthiani D. Sangma, a First Semester English Honours student (Shift II), who passed away on 10th August 2023 at Tura Civil Hospital.

The entire college community, led by the Principal, united in a show of solidarity to honor the memory of Lt. Berthiani D. Sangma. The Principal encouraging every staff member and student to join in this gesture of remembrance. Heads bowed, hearts heavy with emotion, the college community stood united in their thoughts and prayers for the departed soul. Lt. Berthiani D. Sangma's brief yet impactful presence on the campus had left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had known her.

In addition to the minute of silence, the Principal led a heartfelt prayer for comfort and strength for the bereaved family. The staff and students joined in, forming a circle of support and compassion. It was a touching moment that exemplified the close-knit bond within the college community.
