Tura, June 23, 2023 - In a poignant display of solidarity and hope, Don Bosco College in Tura organized a candle-lit prayer service as part of its Orientation Programme for the new batch of students. On the morning of June 23, 2023, students and staff gathered to implore divine intervention and seek peace for the conflict-ridden state of Manipur.
Leading the prayer service, Principal Rev Fr Bivan Rodriques Mukhim called upon the students to join hands and offer their collective prayers for peace in Manipur. The Principal emphasized the significance of their role as young minds entering the college community, urging them to make a positive impact on society and actively contribute to fostering harmony.
Under the theme "Give Peace a Chance," the prayer service aimed to instill a deep sense of empathy and understanding among the students, as they lit candles symbolizing hope and unity.
