Two-week MCS Coaching held in Don Bosco College - Tura

 

Don Bosco College, Tura, in collaboration with the District Administration, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya, has announced a free coaching program for aspiring Meghalaya Civil Services (MCS) candidates.

The program started on May 12th, 2023, and is aimed at preparing the candidates for the MCS Preliminary Examinations, which are scheduled to be held in June 2023.

The MCS coaching program was kicked off by West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Jagdish Chelani, during an inaugural program held at Don Bosco College, Tura. Addressing the students, Chelani informed them that classes on various subjects, including science, English, and aptitude, will be taken during the coaching program schedule, which will help them qualify for the upcoming MCS Preliminary Examinations.

 

He also expressed his gratitude to the Principal of Don Bosco College, Tura, Fr. Bivan Rodriques Mukhim, for providing the necessary resources and infrastructure to conduct the coaching program smoothly and successfully.

 

During the inaugural program, the Additional Deputy Commissioner and District Planning Officer, West Garo Hills, Winje R G Momin, lamented the lack of coaching centers in the Tura region and emphasized the need to organize such programs for the youth of the region. She also stressed that there are not enough resources and materials available, so proper coaching is necessary to help guide and prepare the candidates well for the examinations.

 

Principal, Don Bosco College, Tura Fr. Bivan Rodriques Mukhim, and Research Officer, Tura Bonelia R Marak, also spoke during the occasion and expressed their commitment to providing the necessary support to the candidates during the coaching program.

 

Overall, the free MCS coaching program is an excellent initiative by Don Bosco College, Tura, and the District Administration, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya, to support the aspiring MCS candidates and help them achieve their career goals.
