Extempore Speech Competition on the occasion of World Water Day 2023

Organised by NSS Unit and NDLI Club, Don Bosco College, Tura

The NSS Unit in collaboration with the NDLI Club of the college organised an Extempore Speech Competition for NSS volunteers. The program was graced by Fr. John Paul Tirkey, Vice-Principal of the college, Dr Barbara S Sangma, IQAC Coordinator, Dr Biswajit Paul, President of the NDLI Club and several other professors of the college. Speaking on the occasion, Fr. John Paul Tirkey highlighted the importance of water for survival and sustenance. He also motivated the volunteers to actively participated in different activities and programmes of the NSS unit. Dr Barbara S Sangma spoke about the importance of the conservation and preservation of water and gave words of encouragement to the volunteers. Dr Biswajit Paul highlighted the rules and regulations of the Competition. A total of 70 volunteers attended the program and 20 volunteers participated in the competition. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Position was bagged by Winona A Sangma, Orestes Mulmin N Sangma, and Kimde Ch Momin respectively. The program ended with words of gratitude by Mr Brave Well Mawthoh, Programme Officer of the NSS Unit of the college.
