Parents meet for Arts Day Shift held

On 27th August 2022, the College organises Parents’ Meet for the Arts – Day Shift parents. Over 700 parents turned up for the parents’ meet that the hall did not contain the number of participants.

The gathering was formally welcomed by Sir Habul Ch Das, Asst. Coordinator Parent-Teacher-Students Appraisal Committee. He thanked the presence of a big number of parents at the gathering. Dr Barbara S. Sangma, IQAC Coordinator enlightened the parents on NAAC and said that the parents played important role in assessing the teachers and students performances.

(Dr) Sr Lucy R. Marak, HOD of the Department of English, Sir Biman Tesil Sangma shared on the department and syllabus while Sir Siddhartha Roy encourages the parents to take care of their ward and check on their attendance and studies.

Fr Bivan Rodriques Mukhim, Principal shared on the college and the programme offered by the college. He thanked the parents for trusting in Don Bosco College and said that the college is giving the best for the teaching learning process. He added that their wards are in good hand as the college is taking great care of the students. During the question answer session, the parents put forward various questions. There was an election of ten members who will later form the Parents Association.

The programme started with the singing of the ‘Prayer’ by two students. Ms Zinnia K. Marak from the Department of English proposed the vote of thanks.
