DBC students shine in Online Essay Competition

Five students of the college won prizes at the Essay Writing Competition on the theme ‘Elections for Social Change’ (Songsarni dingtanganina seokba/seokani) organised by District Administration, West Garo Hills in collaboration with Electoral Literacy, Don Bosco College, Tura. The Essay Competition was organised to celebrate National Voters’ Day 2022 at the DRDA Hall, Deputy Commissioner Office, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya.

The students who won the award were Silgrik B. Marak who won the first prize in Garo Category, Dilbirth Sangma, second and Changchang R. Sangma and Siltera A. Sangma who won the third prize. Nibarisha G. Momin won the third prize in the English category.

The award was given by the Deputy Commissioner Shri Ram Singh IAS, Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills, Tura Meghalaya during the National Voters’ Day celebration held on 25^th January 2022.
