Candle Light Service for General Bipin Rawat and others held at DBC
The NCC cadets of Don Bosco College, Tura along with the staff members on 10th December 2021 paid candle light tribute to General Bipin Rawat who, along with 12 other, was killed in a helicopter crash. The candle light homage was held in the College campus. The cadets also paid homage to Mrs Madhulika Rawat and 11 other Army personnel who also died in the tragic Mi-17 V5 crash at Coonor, Tamil Nadu.
CTO Bravewell Mawthoh and CTO Cherimchi T. Sangma led the cadets to prayer and observation of a minute silence to pray for the departed souls. During the service, CTO Bravewell Mawthoh said that the passing away of General Bipin Rawat is a great lost to the country as a whole. He asked all the cadets to pray for the departed soul. The cadets also remembered the great sacrifice that Late Rawat did for the country.
