Don Bosco College wins State Quiz Competition

Tura, October 17: Don Bosco College, Tura have done the region proud by winning the 1^st Prizes of the State level Red Ribbon Quiz Competition 2021 organized by Meghalaya AIDS control society at Shillong on Sunday.

            The achievement now makes the college eligible to represent the state at the North East Regional Level competition to be held sometime in December.

            Mendipathar College of North Garo Hills District won the Third Prize. The two Garo Hills Colleges, were among the total of 40 colleges that participated from across the state.

            The two colleges had represented their respective districts after winning the 1^st and 2^nd Prizes of the Zonal Level (Garo Hills) held earlier. While Don Bosco College won the 1^st Prize and Mendipathar College had bagged the 2^nd Prize then.

 The Quiz competition at Shillong, held on 13^th October 2021 was telecast live on Youtube and Face Book page of the Meghalaya Aids Control Society (MACS).

            Meanwhile, West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Ram Singh has congratulated  the two Colleges for their achievements.
