NCC CELEBRATES GANDHI JAYANTI

The NCC unit of Don Bosco College, Tura observed Gandhi Jayanti. It was observe on 2^nd October 2021 by organising a short program. The program was attended by the Principal of the college, Fr. Bivan Mukhim. Speaking on the occasion the Principal asked the cadets to imbibe the principles and teachings of Gandhiji. He also narrated in brief about Gandhiji’s life in England, South Africa and India and how he helped India in gaining its independence. A few selected cadets were also given the opportunity to speak on various topics related to Gandhiji’s life, teachings and principles. The program was conducted under the supervision of CTO of Senior Wing, Ma’am Cherimchi T Sangma and CTO of Senior Division, Mr. Brave well Mawthoh. The cadets actively participated in the program and promised to follow the footsteps of Gandhiji.
