OPENING CEREMONY OF COLLEGE WEEK, 2019

The  annual  College  Week  Programme  was  held  on  28^th October  and  will  conclude  on  31^st October, 2019. The  opening  ceremony  began  with  an  inspirational  Prayer  Song  presented  by  Agape  and  his  group. This  was  followed  by  a  scriptural  reading  from  the  Holy  Bible  by  Millennium  K.  Marak .

The  Principal, Rev. Fr. Bivan  Rodriques  Mukhim  addressed  the  gathering  and  reminded  the  students  to  showcase  their  talents  by  participating  in the  College  Week’s  various  events. The  College  Week  Flag  was  unfurled  by  the  Principal, in  the  company of  some  teachers of  the  College  and also  a  special  guest, Prof. Firdosh  A.  Momin, Dept. of  Economics, Tura  Government  College,  who is  also  an  alumnus  of  Don  Bosco  College.

The  College  Week  Cauldron  was  lighted  by  the  best  participants  of  the  Annual  College  Week, 2018, Barvado  Marchief  M.  Sangma and Lydia Kalkame  M.  Marak. The President of the  SWA, Astle

Bonkam  M.  Marak, led  the  oath  taking  ceremony  and  vowed  along  with  the  House  Captains  to  play  fair  with  sportsmanship  spirit. The  House  Flags  were  planted  thereafter  by  the  House  Captains . The  vote  of  thanks  was  delivered  by  Subhro Deep  Ghosh, Secretary of  Games  and  Sports. The function concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
