College Honours Teachers on Teachers’ Day

Teachers’  Day   was  celebrated  on  5^th  September, 2018  at  the  College  Amphitheatre. The   NCC cadets escorted the teachers with a slow march for the function. The teachers were warmly welcomed by the Principal, Vice – Principal, SWA members and the students of the College. The programme began with the Wangala Dance performed by the students. The SWA President, Chanangbil D. Marak, in his speech expressed his gratitude to the teachers on behalf of the students of the College. The Principal, Rev. Fr. Bivan Rodriques Mukhim addressed the gathering, and thanked the teachers for their dedicated service to the College. Madam Ipshita Bose Roy (HOD, Political Science), also spoke on the joyful occasion. The students entertained the gathering with a variety of dances and song performances. The vote of thanks was delivered by Kasaan Chokchim M. Sangma, SWA Vice – President. The programme ended with the Basketball match between the Staff and Winners of the Inter – Class Basketball Tournament 2018.
