Union Minister felicitates Red Ribbon Club of the College

Don Bosco Tura was one of the five colleges of Meghalaya to be felicitated for Red Ribbon Club on the occasion of World AIDS Day (1st December) in New Delhi. Felicitating the RBCs from all over the country, the Union Health and Family Welfare Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan lauded the noble act of donating blood as greater than any religious devotion and practices of piety. He encouraged that one should donate blood at least twice a year. He encouraged the RRCs to continue to engage itself in health- related works, especially blood donation.

The World AIDS Day Celebration during which the best Red Ribbon Clubs were felicitated was attended by the WHO delegates from UNO.

Dr. Barbara S. Sangma, RRC Nodal Officer received the certificate of Felicitation on behalf of Don Bosco College, Tura.
