Career Guidance for 6^th Semester BA Students by District Police

In collaboration with the Meghalaya Police and West Garo Hills Police a career guidance programme was conducted for the 6^th Semester BA (Section A) students of the college on 2^nd March 2020. The programme was animated by Shri Deepak Kr. Palecha IPS, Addl. Superintendent of Police West Garo Hills.

Welcoming the resource person, Fr. Bivan Rodriques Mukhim expressed his gratitude to the district police for the support and collaboration in all the activities of the college. He referred to the Northeast NSS Festival that was hosted by the college at the beginning of the year where the district police offered their help to make the programme a success. He welcomed the Addl. SP with a Garo scarf and a college memento.

Speaking on the occasion Shri Deepak Kr. Palecha IPS, said that there are different options available to the students after their degree studies. He added that the most important aspect in the life of a person is the ‘passion’ that one has in him/her to strive towards success. He wished the students the best as they continue to strive towards success.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Fr. Albinus Dhanwar, Vice Principal and Co-coordinator of Placement and Career cell of the college. Altogether 200 students took part in the career guidance.
