Former UCC Principal Dr. Samuel R Lyndem conducts workshop for quality-check

Dr. Samuel R. Lynden, former Principal of Union Christian College, Shillong conducted a one-day workshop for the IQAC members of the college. Twenty five staff members attended the workshop.

Familiarizing the staff with the new guidelines for the Re-Accreditation and Assessment of the college, Dr. Lynden was lucid in his explanation of the entire process. Dr. Lynden spared no efforts in responding to all clarifications sought.  The highlight of the workshop was Dr. Lyndem’s personal experiences in pursuit of academic excellence, not only for his college but for higher education in Meghalaya.

As NAAC Peer Team member, the much- travelled Dr. Lyndem was a Godsend to the college that is finalizing the self study report.  Sir Sanjeev Lyngdoh and Sir Suraj Pradhan of Zoology and Philosophy departments, respectively while doing the honours to the renowned educationist and proposing the vote of thanks, also thanked Fr. Bivan Rodriques Mukhim for the workshop.
