DBC Tura distributes Hand Stitched Face Masks to District Administration
Don Bosco College, Tura on 8th April handed over 900 handmade masks to the District Administration, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya. Fr. Bivan Rodriques Mukhim, Principal handed over the masks to Sri Ram Singh IAS, Deputy Commissioner West Garo Hills in the presence of Dr Ivonne M. Sangma, Senior Medical Officers District Medical and Health Office (DMHO), West Garo Hills and senior medical officers. Present were also Sr. Marcellina S. Sangma, Superior Auxilium School, Tura, Fr. Jogesh B. Sangma, Principal Don Bosco College Higher Secondary Section, Fr Threnius Sangma, Principal Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Tura.
The masks were hand stitched by the Salesian sisters at Auxilium Convent Tura and will be distributed to the ASHA medical staff of the District. The Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills in the facebook page expressed thanks to the Don Bosco community for the help extended to the District Administration. The DC posted, “We thank Father Bivan and the Don Bosco family. They are always there to help us. May Almighty bless them”
