DBC Shows love for the Country on Republic Day

The staff of Don Bosco College exhibited their patriotism by taking part in the Flag Hoisting programme organized to observe the 69^th Republic Day of the Country on 26^th January. The flag was unfurled at 7:00 am by Fr. Bivan Rodriques Mukhim, Principal.

In his message on Republic Day he highlighted the strength that the country has. He also said that the country needed people to bring about change in its face. He recalled the struggle of the freedom fighters to bring about self rule. “Our freedom fighters have a dream for all Indian men and women and today we build on the dream of our forefather,” he said. He added that by having our own constitution, the country is free from all external control. “India has shown to the world what it can achieve. We need to work together to continue the legacy of our freedom fighters,” he added.

Those present sang the National Anthem and a patriotic song.
