An Awareness Programme on the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2025 was organized by the RTI Committee, Don Bosco College, Tura, in collaboration with the Don Bosco College of Teacher Education, Tura, on 10th March 2025 (Monday) at 12.45 pm in Bosco Hall.

The session was conducted by Advocate Jericho R. Marak, Assistant Legal Aid Defence Counsel at the District Legal Services Authority, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya, who served as the Resource Person. He delivered an insightful lecture, supported by a PowerPoint presentation, to the teaching and non-teaching staff, representatives of the Students’ Welfare Association, and local public.

The lecture was highly informative and relevant, particularly in the current context of ensuring transparency and accountability within both government and non-government organizations, including financial matters.
