Financial Awareness and Career Opportunities in Banking – SBI Tura Chandmari

On 26 November 2024, the State Bank of India (SBI) Regional Office, Lower Chandmari, Tura Meghalaya conducted an insightful programme at a resort in Wadanang, Tura, focused on financial and banking frauds in the digital age. The session provided valuable tips on how to protect oneself from fraud and how the teachers could encouraged students of the college to explore career opportunities in the growing banking sector of Garo Hills.

The event was attended by Fr John Paul Tirkey, Vice Principal of Don Bosco College, along with 10 teachers, all of whom expressed their satisfaction with the programme's relevance and impact. The session effectively raised awareness about financial security and inspired interest in the banking industry.
