Meeting with Mrs Kathy Biginchi Ch Momin: Exploring Business Solutions for Rural Meghalaya

On 19 December 2024, Mrs Kathy Biginchi Ch Momin, Project Associate - FLN from Smart Village Movement in alliance with Berkeley Haas (USA), met with VI Semester B. Com students at Don Bosco College, Tura. She discussed creating business model solutions for rural challenges in Meghalaya, teaching students how to design and test business ideas, and apply entrepreneurial techniques.

Accompanied by HOD Mr Sarbindra Barman, Mrs Kathy introduced a 10-week online course starting on 20 January 2025, led by UC Berkeley faculty. Students were encouraged to form groups, register online, and set goals for the course. The program, free of cost, offers learning opportunities and certificates.

The students were excited about the opportunity and suggested holding online preparatory sessions before the course begins.
