Career Guidance Programme Empowers Final Semester Students at Don Bosco College - Tura.

The Students Support and Progression Committee at Don Bosco College, Tura, joined hands with Royal Global University (RGU), Guwahati to organize a Career Guidance Programme for Final Semester Students. The event, held on 24th April 2024 (Wednesday) at Bosco Hall, was meticulously tailored to address the specific needs of these students as they prepare to step into the professional world.

The primary objective of the programme was to offer valuable insights and guidance to assist students in navigating their career paths successfully. Divided into four sessions catering to Bachelor of Arts - Section A, Bachelor of Arts - Section B, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Commerce students, the programme covered a wide range of career-related topics.

Distinguished resource persons from RGU, Guwahati, including Dr. Stithi Porna Dutta (Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry), Dr. Priyanka Patowari (Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work), and Ms. Jimpy Saud (Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce), led these sessions, providing students with expert advice and industry perspectives.

The coordination and arrangements for this programme were overseen by Dr. Arindam Ghosh and Dr. Yubraj Sharma, Assistant Professors from the Department of Physics at Don Bosco College, Tura. As coordinators of the Career and Placement Committee, their efforts ensured a seamless and enriching experience for the final semester students, equipping them with the necessary tools and knowledge to embark on their professional journeys with confidence.
